French Jar

For your consideration is this very collectable Le Tarfait Glass Canning/Preserving Jar Made In France that is in excellent condition free of any chips or cracks.

Jar stands at 6 3/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide when opened. This would be considered a wide mouth canning jar size.

Marked on the front: V M C - Reims, Le Tarfait, "Super".

Top of the jar reads: Bocal A, Ouverture Instantanee, Le Tarfait "Super".

Bottom marks are: Made In France, 1l,E,7, M.

I VETRI DI FIDENZA STORAGE JAR - 8 1/2" TALL

made in ITALY

The price listed is for two glass jars with lids. It has a wire closure and a seal. The seal shows a little wear but still works fine as does the wire closure. The jar has no cracks or chips. Any marks on it appear to have occured during the manufacturing process.

Molded into the top of the lid is: "ONLY GLASS-PERALIMENTI, ITALY,

I VETRI DI FIDENZA." It has a 2 molded into the bottom of the jar.
